Derata is just one more region in the world of pokemon. Or, at least, that's what everyone thinks. Some know better. And, oh, how different it is. Not because of the pokemon. Not because of the battling system. No, it's got a whole other invisible island floating in its sky.
Now, many think the Region of Kaida is a myth, a story. The island region supposedly floats through the sky, invisible to all unless you are in a specific area while a full moon is shining in the middle of the afternoon. It seems bizarre and impossible. This portion of the story isn't necessarily true, but the island is there, and there are many you have somehow managed their way there and been sent back down to Derata with amnesia.
However, now that the evil of Kaida, a group who calls themselves simply 'the Darkness', has come down to the main region of Derata and begun working operations there, the trainers have got to watch their back. Unlike Team Rocket, the Darkness members don't just steal your pokemon. They kill you while they're at it. So, welcome to Derata. Can you stay alive long enough to make it to the top?
