Games or Anime?

Being a guest that is considering joining, I've got one big buzzing thought in my mind: Would roleplaying here be more comparable to the Pokemon Games or the TV show? I'll be honest: I haven't watched Pokemon since Season two or three, but I still get what the difference would be. I know that there are levels and stats (I read almost every thread already up. Wow, I feel like a creeper! XD), but I also noted that (Citing an exact example) the Skitty that one can get as a starter from the Professor whose name escapes me at the moment have five moves rather than four, the known maximum in the game. Now, it's possible that was just a slip up, and if it was, I'm sorry for being nitpicky! I don't mean to be. But, if the site was more comparable to the TV show - or even real life - it would be possible and even normal for a Pokemon to have more than four moves. Also, when one battles, would it be turn-based, such as in the game, or is it possible to use two moves in succession - or perhaps nothing at all, such as in the anime? Let me know, please. Thanks so much! =)

Oh, another thing: While roleplaying on the site, would I be interacting more with other members or moderators? I've roleplayed with both and have no preference, I'm just wondering so I know what to expect. Thank again! And sorry for bombarding you with questions!

For the comparison: It's mainly like the games, but you can have as many moves as you like and may do more than one move in succession/no moves at all, thus allowing more to happen in one thread then 'oh, my totodile used scratch' XD So, it's sorta in between, I suppose.

And though moderators(at the moment there's only me, though...) would be playing all the wild pokemon/the professor, it will be possible for a member to snag one of the gym leaders, and besides wild pokemon and gyms, you would be playing with other members. Unless of course your character travels entirely alone and for some strange reason meets absolutely nobody.
