Welcome to Small Towns, Big Dreams! Better known as STBD, we are an intermediate play-by-post pokemon roleplaying game featuring three of the known regions(Kanto, Johto, Hoenn) and no particular plot to stick to. This leaves you free to make up your own scenarios and storylines, for creative freedom and all that wonderful stuff.

ADVERTISE AND AFFILIATE Plug your board as either an advertisement or an affiliate. Keep in mind we have a few rules about such things, but they are rather simple and easy to follow. ARCHIVES Old posts and posts that have been finished will be moved here to keep the boards from getting cluttered. They will also be locked before or after moving here, so that no one posts in them anymore.

DATEBOOK If you are going to be away, pleasde let everyone know the dates here, so that we know you haven't just left us hanging. Also, if your quitting, post here to tell us so we can clear things up faster.
DESIGNER PLUS All photomanipulation and spriting can be shown off, offered or requested within this board. Please message Calcine in regards to obtaining your own studio.
THOSE APPLYING If you would like to make your first character or make a new character, you can find the form for doing so here. Then, once you have filled it out, you can post it here as well to wait for a staff member to look over it. Once accepted, it will be moved the the board just below.
BREATHING THE AIR All the characters that have been accepted will be moved here for reference, and to keep the application board uncluttered. The posts will not be locked, but it would be appreciated if you wouldn't just start up a conversation in a biography post. All that should be there is the biography, staff acceptance, and posts referring to corrections that need to be made.
THE LAB If you would like to get a starter pokemon, no matter what region you're in you post here and the respective Professor or an assistant will help you out. There will be a list of the starter pokemon available inside.
POKEMART If you want to buy anything for your character using your Pokedollars, you can come here. We've got an inventory list with all the prices already set up for you. Once this is set up, for each character you create, you will get 3000 Pokedollars, just like at the start of the games.
RECORDINGS Keep a record of your character's items, pokemon, posts, etc. here if you wish to. It is prefer that you at least show their pokemon and items here, so that you don't get accused of not having such-and-such, but actually having it with just no record for us to check. One topic per player is the maximum, one post in said topic per character is preferred.
PLOTTING If you are looking for someone to be family, friend, foe or a love prospect, you can post here. Any sort of plot ideas can also be posted here, and you can get the opinions of the staff and members. If everyone likes the idea, we might very well include it in our plot.

STORAGE BOXES Got more than six pokemon? Drop some off here! You can switch them into your party at any time, and if you have posts with overlapping party choices, feel free to have more than six in your party for that time! Only one thread per character, please.
