"Oiiii!" Bel yelled in complete frustration. "Get down here this instant!"

The bird she was yelling at was no other than Baccardi, her own Pidgey. It's safe to say neither had a good first impression of the other, and everything that had happened since went downhill from there. Even now, he gave her the cold shoulder, twisting his body to face the other way on the branch. Angry for turning his back to her, while disobeying, Bel stomped on the ground with each foot. It was like she was having a temper tantrum. The city folk that happened to be in the vicinity, or walking by, stared at the scene in amusement and carried on with their daily lives.

"Do you think it's funny to peck a girl in the back of the head?" she roared, pointing her finger at the petite girl beside her. The poor thing had tear stains down her cheeks and one hand was still clutching the injury.

Baccardi turned back around to face her, sent out a challenging glare, and a squawk to go with it. Her eye twitched. It was true that the girl had started it... well, kind of anyways. The blame would most likely be best suited for Bel, but she would never admit it. In fact, they were happily munching on some food that Bel was kindly sharing with her pokemon. She finished her dish first and then noticed the girl staring at them from behind a corner. The girl looked so hungry and adorable! How could she deny the poor thing food? So she took some of Baccardi's share and gave it to her to eat. His feathers ruffled at the motion, and then he went on the full attack when she had taken her first bite. The remains of his lunch were now lying on the ground, wasted and dirty.

Right now he could starve for all she cared.

"Apologize," she commanded. When he made no notion of doing so, she repeated more kindly, "Apologize, please."

Baccardi stuck his beak in the air. Her fists clenched and the face she made must have scared the girl because she ran off in sobs. Before Bel could even take a step to run after her, her Pidgey somehow managed to land on her head within seconds. Her voice was low, strained and came out in a hiss. "I am going to kill you."
