SHUDDER is a literate Werewolf site. But don't think we are like other Werewolf sites, for we are truly set apart from others. We don't need a full moon, for our Werewolves shift in the winter. Yes, season shifts. When he first get bitten by another wolf, they are uncontrollably shifting back and forth. But when a wolf makes his final shift for the winter, he starts his curse. The wolves all shift during the winter, and none during the summer. They become normal wolves, and can only communicate through simple images sent back and forth.
You would think this would be sort of cool, but it just gets worse. The wolves aren't keeping their human senses with them, losing all the thoughts a human does, and just becoming a normal wolf. If you think that is bad, what would you say if I told you that the wolves have an "Expiration date?" It's a year when they won't return human ever again. They will stop becoming human, and stay wolves for a simple life.
You might be thinking, "Well, why wouldn't the humans go someplace warmer to try and stay human in the summer?" Well, because then, the simplest change in the weather can change us. We can't escape what will be coming next. One year, we won't return to human skin...
