New rules in red!
Battling
Battling
- You may join as a gym leader, however, unless there is a good reason, please stick to the leaders from the games. Otherwise, gym leaders will be played by a staff member.
- All the wild pokemon will be played by the staff.
- Unless needed for some plot there will be no random trainers. Simply battle amongst yourselves.
- Be realistic; If you are battling in the middle of an ocean, fat chance surf is going to miss, whether it'll make you lose the battle or not.
- After someone has gathered all eight badges, then someone(most likely me) will make another board where the elite trainers can gather for tournaments to decide the champion, to battle the champion, etc.
- After each battle, the victorious trainer will receive a set amount of money, as will be detailed below.
Plot-related Random Trainer; $100
Gym Leader; $1000 times the badge number
Another Player's Trainer; $1000
Member of the Elite Four; $10,000
The Current Champion; $15,000
Levelling Up and Evolution
- For each level equal to or above your pokemon's level, your pokemon gains gain a half a level. Basically, if a level 3 pokemon defeats a level 4 pokemon, it would gain a level. However, if it defeated a level 3 pokemon it would only gain a half level. You have to keep track of your own half levels. If you get two, then you get to have them gain a level. If this is confusing, let me know and I'll try to explain it better.
- You may also increase every single one of your pokemon's levels by one after every 40 posts you make. Even your pokemon in storage!
[/li][li]As for evolution, follow the diamond/pearl/platinum level system, along with the moves they learn. Despite the fact that I didn't include Sinnoh. Oh, and your pokemon can have as many moves as you like, makes it much more interesting.
