He watched quietly with a happy, but small, smile on his face. He was so distracted, even, that he didn't notice the egg in his lap rocking around until it rolled right off his lap. He scrambled to grab it before it went in the water, but wasn't nearly fast enough. Luckily for him, Cynder was, though the egg nearly bowled her over first. Once it's momentum was slowed, though, it wasn't nearly as hard to keep from rolling away, and the fire pokemon rolled it back toward Rylee with careful nudges of her head.
He scooped it back up, though the motion was rather pointless as his hand nearly went through a small hole that had appeared in the egg, and he carefully turned it, not sure whether it was hatching or had been damaged on some rock hidden beneath the sand. As soon as the hole was turned upright, a little brown nose poked through, followed by a rather persistently pushing head, until the egg was whole with the exception of an egg head sticking out. This didn't last long as the newborn scrabbled at the inside of the egg, desperate to get out, forming hairline cracks which essentially caused the egg to shatter enough for her to scramble out.
Tired out by such extreme measures so early in her little life, the little eevee, who was rather small looking at the moment, curled into a ball, keeping only its ears erect. It head rested on its front paws, eyes gazing over at Tay, occasionally glancing up to look at Rylee. Soon, though, she fell asleep, with Rylee still rather stunned from the image of an eevee with an egg for a body, which was now rather stuck in his head.

Tay was distracted from her egg by Rylee's. For a moment it looked as if it would roll off into the water but there was no way she could leap up fast enough to get it. Luckily, Cynder was the hero of the day and stopped it from falling. That egg must be about to hatch too. She turned her complete attention to it and watched.
A little nose poked through the egg followed the head and then the whole body emerged. She watched as the cute little thing curled itself up. "Aww..." Tayonis smiled at the little pokemon. Sepia looked over to the younger eevee looking a lot as if she wanted to go and welcome her to the world but she didn't for fear of disturbing the now sleeping, Ratchet.
Tayonis chuckled and said teasingly, "Congratulations, you're now a mother." A small cracking sound disturbed her laughter though. She turned and saw the last egg starting to shake back and forth. A small crack was starting to form at the side... the last egg was hatching... Tay could barely conceal her joy.
The crack started to get bigger as did the shaking. Soon half of the egg had broken off to show part of a white body with little white paws. The started moving in the direction towards Rylee but ended up bumping into him. Quickly, the half-shell-half-pokemon shuffled backwards. Tay decided to help the pokemon by removing the rest of the shell. She picked it up and marveled at what she saw. The rest of the pokemon was green with what looked like grass and there was a flower on top of its head... What pokemon was this? She picked it up and held it close to her. The pokemon was so little! It was adorable!
She looked at Rylee with confusion on her face. "What kind of pokemon is this? I've never seen one before." Maybe the breeder would know. Didn't they have a wide range of pokemon knowledge.

He didn't get a chance to focus on his own new pokemon for very long when Tay's other egg hatched into a pokemon he only vaguely recognized, and even then, only because he had recently been reading myths. Careful not to disturb the sleeping eevee, who he had decided to name Sylph, he pulled a book out of his bag.
He quickly flipped through it, stopping on the page that had the small hedgehog-like pokemon on it. He placed it down so she could see as well, and tapped the description.
There. Shaymin.
He replied, glancing over the description himself, though not too in depth. He'd read it before, and he knew the basics of what it contained. What he remembered most, of course, was the mention of some sort of flower that allowed it to change to a different form, which was also pictured in the book.

Tay leaned over to get a good view of the book. There in the book was the very pokemon that had hatched. Shaymin, eh? It must have been a very rare pokemon... and she got her own! It was so cute, too. With its cute little flower on its head the cute little grass... that had a few tangles in it. She tried to comb them out when the perfect name came to mind... Tangle. It was perfect! "Well, this shaymin is going to be called, Tangle." She said hugging Tangle who had fallen asleep from her exhausting escape from the egg.
Tay took another look at the book and noticed a flower that looked an awful lot like one she had picked before... Carefully sitting Tangle down on her lap she reached for her backpack. On the front pocket which was carefully zipped she produced a flower that was the exact copy of the one inside the book.
She pulled it out and sat it it right on the page in the book, next to the picture so Rylee could take a look at it if he wanted. "A Gladecia Flower. I found this shortly after I found Tangle's egg." She read a short little description in the book about the flower. The pollen of the flower supposedly let shaymin turn into another form. Another form? Hmm, she'd have to see about that later on. Right now the pokemon seemed to tired to even care about trying to change forms. "Hmm, this seems interesting. Another form, eh?"
