(I'll find something better and more customised soon enough, for now this gives a general idea of her appearance.)
NAME ;; Guzina Alexandria Luciette Dubois
NICKNAMES ;; Gus, Lexie
FORMER STAGENAME ;; Lucia
AGE ;; 21
GENDER ;; Female
BIRTHDAY ;; October 23rd
BIRTHPLACE ;; Goldenrod, Johto
PROFESSION ;; Traveler (for now).
PERSONALITY ;;
She used to be an upbeat, positive and fame-hungry starlet. Her history has left her with the vices of being somewhat needy and afraid of people. She is not trusting, but herself tries to be trustworthy and responsible for her actions. The fall from her previous life affected her in a way that she is unwilling to stand out in a crowd, and tries to remain neutral in any situation that calls for a decision towards heroism or the opposite. She tries to uphold kindness and altruism in her behavior, but she has noticed that such things might conflict with her current goals in life. Living life only for herself is a new experience, and one could say her personality is at the moment best described as a aimless mass of potential directions to grow towards as a person; be the result a emotionless lone wolf or a brave adventurer, it remains undiscovered as of yet. What she does know at the moment, that she wants shed the former impression people had of her as a naive, even stupid girl without any power over her own life.
In short, she is a generally good-natured person waiting for the rough road ahead of her to form her into a new person.
HISTORY ;; Being the only child of busy enterpreneur parents, Guzina spent a very lone childhood abundant with material riches but severely lacking in human contact. She wanted nothing more than to be recognized and adored by her parents and the people around her, and with the help of her parent's fortune and connections with the entertainment business, Guzina spent her school years in various private art and musical schools. She learned how to perform, act, sing and play various instruments. She never found much friends though, as her lonely childhood extended it's shadow to her preteen and adolescent years, and once she received the stigma of being "that rich, dumb girl with no friends" early on, she never managed to shrug off of it. She kept telling to herself "when I'm a star, all will notice what I truly am, and be sorry to never make friends with me."
She thought herself that she wasn't being selfish and bitter, but in retrospect she was being just that, enforcing her already ill reputation.
Once she reached her teen age, she was again aided by her family's wealth and name to make a record contract with a label, and began realizing her childhood dream of being a famous pop star. After much practice and a vast amount of marketing and advertising support, she started to be noticed and receive fame in her hometown. Although she had a bad reputation among her peers, she was not notorious enough to be immediately panned by the public, and her first hit single "Dance Night, Every Night" became a huge local hit in the radio stations. The song itself was a heavy electronic pop track with strongly adjusted vocal tracks, and although Guzina realized such a song did not bring out her true talent, she was more than happy that she was finally famous. All the other students from her previous schools hadn't made it bigger than her, and she felt like she was on the top of the world for a moment. She was a celebrity, a VIP, a star. And the perks that came with it distracted her from the fact that although she had made it this far, neither her parents nor her previous haters had made no notion of thinking about her in any other way than before.
Then, after her first album came out, which was basically just a collection of similar songs to her first hit single, the reality hit Guzina hard. Her singing talent was criticized as being fake and that her whole fame was "made into reality by Auto-Tune, not actual talent." She still remember how mortified she was when she realized that she was not only famous, but she was also a public joke. A talentless, rich dumb girl with enough money to make songs anyone could make famous, and that she was just a product of her record label, not an actual artist.
Although she tried her very best to hide this fact from herself, she continued on with the course she had been set into musically, and after a year, when she was 17, her second album got out.
By this time, the joke had gotten old. Her 'talent' was crushed by critics, peers and the public alike. Her previous fame as "princess of the dancefloors" turned into "desperate b-list wannabe". After that, everything came crashing down. Her record deal was broken off and all her supporters showed her their true side; once she was not making money for them anymore, she was good as gone to them. She felt like a carcass being gnawed to the bone and left by the scavengers to search for new prey dumb enough to be caught.
She blamed everyone. She hated everyone.
Except herself.
It took many years of spending her time in superficial profusion for her to finally realize, that what had happened was all her own doing. From the beginning, she was the person responsible of creating her own image, her own fame, her own downfall. Even as a kid, from the very first decline of friendship she had become too obsessed of 'showing everyone' to actually care about becoming something else than what was expected of a dumb rich girl. She never tried becoming good at anything else than being somehow better than the rest. She never did anything for her own good, it was all for the people she so desperately wanted to show that she was doing it for herself.
Now, freshly out of rehabilitation, with all her previous wealth and relationships, including her parents, gone, she feels like she is drifting in nothingness.
Until she sees two young adults, a girl and a guy, maybe a few years younger than she is, with their backpacks on and dirt on their clothes, arriving into the city of Goldenrod. They both look poor and battered, and with them are large monsters, pokémon, who seem to be their companions, or pets. They are clearly fatigued, but seem somehow very serene and calm. They head int to the café Guzina is sitting in, and as they sit to the table next to her, she can't help but listen to their converstation.
She is completely smitten by the couple's discussion. They talk about their travels, about the cities they have seen, the forests and lakes and oceans and the mountains they have traveled, about the dangers and people they have met, about the dark nights being chased by monsters and the beautiful sunsets they chased aquatic beasts along the shorelines.
The only traveling Guzina has done was spent in luxurious establishments which differed only in appearance, never in content. Hearing such grand tales of adventure, Guzina could not believe that these two young people could have lived and experienced so much. Although she was several years older than them, she could see from their appearance and their behavior that they were more adult than she would ever be, if she continued her life like this.
At that moment, she decided.
"It's still not too late for me. It can't be."

SECRETS ;; She once met a boy, a trainer like the two people she saw at the café and got her inspiration from. A boy with shaggy hair and a lopsided smile. He was traveling with primate pokémon, and called himself 'Monkey'. He said that she liked Guzina, thought she was a 'Hot Mess'.
Although it was a year ago, when she was more or less out of it almost daily, she can remember him saying he was heading to the Hoenn region, to catch more monsters for himself.
Maybe, just maybe, Guzina would some day be able to see that funky boy and his crooked smile once again.
